there's something about this that makes me think of a manhattan summer luncheon at a friends apartment. i absolutely love this tablecloth and all the perfectly misplaced plates on the wall! i'm a fan of duality so this modern design meets classic placement really makes me smile ;) All designs here are from the finnish textile and clothing design company Mari Mekkko, www.marimekko.fi, that was established in 1951. the company designs, manufactures and markets high-quality clothing, interior decoration textiles, bags and other accessories under the marimekko brand, both in finland and abroad.

I love the Charming Imperfections of the plates' placement on the wall!. The table cloth makes me dizzy...but I love the white an black of it all... perhaps I'd use black and white checks to calm my vertigo ;-). Thanks for sharing--love your blog--it is lovely!
